Drexel University has partnered with Allstate Benefits to offer faculty and professional staff special rates without requiring a medical exam or information on your medical history. Protect Your Financial Wellness with Supplemental Coverage Accident coverage for as little as $4.24 per week deducted from your paycheck – in case you or a family member has a covered accidental injury, the policy will pay cash benefits directly to you and you decide the best way to spend them. For example, for a broken ankle the Allstate Accident Plan would Pay $2,480 for out of pocket expenses, including a medical plan deductible, physician fees, x-rays, medicine, crutches and follow up visits as well as lump sum benefit.
Critical Illness with cancer coverage for as little as $1.91 per week deducted from your paycheck – protects you from the costs associated with a serious illness such as cancer, heart attack or stroke. Upon initial diagnosis of a covered critical illness, the policy will provide a lump-sum payment of up to $20,000 that can be used as you see fit.
