Event Description
Presented by Steve Melly, GIS Analyst for the Urban Health Collaborative, this is the first in a series of hands-on workshops designed to teach new users how to create basic maps using ArcGIS software and explore spatial data for Philadelphia. These workshops will be useful for students interested in learning more about GIS for public health research in preparation for a course to be offered at Dornsife SPH in Spring 2017 by Brent Langellier, assistant professor of Health Management and Policy.
