Food and Wine Pairing

Event Description

The Center for Hospitality and Sport Management will be offering the course, Food and Wine Pairing for beginners.  Students will begin by learning how to taste wine and then continue to the theory and practice of pairing food and wine.  The course will include practical tastings combining wine with cheese, dessert, sauces and a multiple-course dinner. No matter at what level of expertise the student enters the course, each participant will end with extensive and highly advanced knowledge of food and wine pairing.

The course, open to the general public (must be 21 years of age), is offered as a non-credit continuing professional education course. 

The six-week course will be offered on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm - beginning on February 3 and run through March 9 - and will be held in the Academic Bistro.  The cost of the course will be $495.
