Event Description SPARK is a 24 hour (Nov. 12-13) think-tank style competition giving you the chance to solve real-world problems alongside professional engineers, scientists and corporate representatives.
Hosted by Drexel’s Institute for Energy and the Environment (IExE) and national engineering company O'Brien & Gere (OBG), students will be asked to present solutions to meet industry needs.
The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines interested in creating solutions to energy, water and environmental issues. Working in multi-disciplinary teams, students will have the chance to win $2,500 in cash prizes, develop a solution that may actually be implemented and network with industry representatives.
