Coloring isn’t just for kids! Coloring books for
adults have recently surged in popularity, but it’s not a new fad. Carl Jung
began prescribing coloring to his patients as a relaxation technique in the early
20th century, with many psychologists following his lead since.
That’s because coloring gives you an easy way to become engrossed in a
comforting activity and forget about the day’s stresses. And when you’re done,
you have a one-of-a-kind and inexpensive decoration—making it good for your
mind and your wallet!
We’ll provide the coloring books and crayons. Just
bring your creativity!
Interested in the comradery of a Drexel
Crafternoon but want to work on another craft? No problem! Feel free to bring
your own project and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with your craft colleagues.
This event is open to all Drexel University
faculty and professional staff. For more information, please contact Monica
