Drexel CASTLE: Pedagogical Happy Hour “Vertically Integrated Program”

Event Description

There will be a CASTLE Pedagogical Happy Hour, “Vertically Integrated Program” will be on Thursday, January 18th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm and features, Kapil Dandekar PhD, Professor; Electrical & Computer Engineering. 

Dr. Dandekar will speak about the new Vertically Integrated Program at Drexel University (VIP) embeds large-scale, long-term, multidisciplinary teams of undergraduates in the research efforts of faculty and their graduate students. This talk will present a vision for the new Drexel VIP program, seek to identify and cultivate partnerships across collegiate boundaries, and leverage best practices from similar efforts.

The CASTLE Pedagogical Happy Hour is a monthly program hosted by the Center for the Advancement of STEM Teaching and Learning Excellence (CASTLE) and sponsored by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).The event offers a casual environment for faculty to share ideas about STEM teaching and learning while enjoying refreshments.
